The short version
NSITE is for everyone who builds things. Be kind, be curious, and treat the people around you with respect. If something is wrong, tell us and we will act.
Who this covers
Everyone at the event: participants, visitors, judges, guests, volunteers and staff, in every venue.
What we expect
- Follow the rules of your event and the instructions of event staff.
- Ask before you take a close-up photo of someone.
- Respect other teams, their work and their space.
- Look out for each other. If someone seems uncomfortable, tell a member of staff.
What is not acceptable
- Harassment of any kind, including unwelcome comments about someone’s gender, disability, appearance, race, religion or age.
- Intimidation, unwelcome physical contact or ragging.
- Damaging other teams’ entries, equipment or the campus.
- Fraudulent registration or cheating in a competition.
If you are asked to stop, stop.
How to report
- Speak to anyone wearing a staff badge, or go to the help desk.
- Write to nsitengi@gmail.com.
- Call +91 9605 771 555 if it is urgent.
You can report something that happened to you or something you saw.
What happens next
Reports are handled by the NSITE organising committee and kept confidential.
Enforcement
The organising committee may give a warning, cancel a registration or remove someone from the event.
